What is PTSD?

Dr. Janet E. Constance
Dr. Constance received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO in 2008. She completed her internship in Clinical Adult Psychology at SUNY Upstate Medical Unversity in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Constance specializes in the assessment and evidence-based treatment of PTSD, mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI)/concussion, and insomnia.
She has worked as a PTSD specialist for over 15 years. She enjoys providing training and consultation in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
Dr. Constance's research interests include psychotherapy duration, therapist self-disclosure, and mTBI in veteran population. She has published in The Clinical Neuropsychologist, Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation, and Journal of Contemporary Psychotherapy.

Harold Morales
Harold Morales is a Heaert of America Chapter of the Alzheimer's Associations' Community Program Specialist with a DEI Focus. His desire is to increase awareness of Alzheimer's in all communities within Missouri and Kansas. One of his main goals is to expand the organization's reach and engagement within underrepresented communities.
Harold's years of experience in public health, first as a Vector Ecologist with Los Angeles County and then as a Health Coordinator for the Family Conservancy of Kansas City, has given him a passion for working in public health matters.
